Forest anthropology

What is forest anthropology?
While an anthropologist studies humans in all their aspects, a forest anthropologist focuses specifically on trees, people and their interactions.
People and trees are intimately connected, we influence each other and even resemble each other in some aspects. We both have a collective consciousness, which influences all living things.
These old pollarded trees could grow so old precisely because of the pollarding that took place. In other words, people can support trees.
When we respect the old trees, their network can do the same with us.
