My mission
The Land of Eya revives thanks to:
1. The reintroduction of Eya as a tree
Where? In forests and as a solitary tree
How? In the first phase by creating strong roots (networking, scientific research).
In a second phase by harvesting seeds from native mother trees and growing them in collaboration with others in an organic or biodynamic way. This is now happening at 4 special nurseries. Within a few years, these trees can be spread, preferably to places where they can grow into millennia-old specimens.

2. The reintroduction of Eya into our consciousness
What started with a translation of a good yew book by Fred Hageneder with an appendix about the region of Belgium and the Netherlands grew into an own research and book project. Workshops, lectures and guided visits to the most beautiful eya forest of the Benelux and guided trips are possible on request and are planned periodically (see agenda).
3. The Tree of Life in your life
Deepen your experience at key moments with the Tree of Life!
Together with Eya and you/you guys I create the right ritual to feel and celebrate/process the meaning of a birth or death - in multiple dimensions. If a beloved tree is sick or dying I can support. And the most beautiful thing is perhaps the (re)creation of a place of power with Eya.

4. "Honoring the Elders"
This matriarchal principle is inherent to the Land of Eya. Unfortunately, policy makers, project developers - and by extension most people - do not (well) understand the importance of old trees. A key is to let them experience the wisdom and energy of these sages.
My first book 'The forgotten ecosystem service of trees' already offers a nice introduction. Guided walks, meditations and listening to them together are activities that I offer to help you experience it. If an old tree dies anyway, the tree spirit can be moved to a young tree. This simple but moving ritual is also possible on request.
5. Tree readings
We can't turn back history, but we can learn from it...
As Bernard of Clairvaux wrote:
'Trust me, in the forest you will find something much greater than in books. Stones and trees will show you what the masters cannot teach you.'
This quote is popular with many tree lovers. It is a rare written indication of a different approach to trees and nature from long gone times. It appealed to me for over 20 years, but the full extent only became clear to me in 2023.
My rebirth as Aelyn was accompanied by the ability to receive detailed information from trees and stones. Since then I have done hundreds of readings for ancient trees or special stones. Their stories often surpass the wildest imagination.
Be moved and inspired!
